A daily log of aircraft visiting Dublin International Airport (DUB/EIDW).
Saturday, July 16, 2011
Saturday 16th July Etihad used A330 A6-EYE on their morning service from/to Abu Dhabi. This was the aircraft's first visit to Dublin since it was painted in Manchester City's special scheme. For the second day running Air Canada's A319 stopped for fuel while routing from Heathrow to St.John's. Meanwhile, the Air Transat A330 suffered a burst tyre on take off from Toronto and some airframe damage was discovered upon landing resulting in the outbound flight being cancelled and a trip to the hangars for repairs. Finally, Lufthansa's newest A321 D-AIDI paid its first visit on the tea-time Frankfurt service.
